Dental diagnostics Warsaw

A well-conducted diagnosis is the beginning of any successful treatment - without it, even the best treatment plan would not be complete. In dentistry, it is the details that count, which is why modern examinations make it possible to see what cannot be seen with the naked eye: hidden cavities, changes in the bone, the condition of the canals or the position of the roots.

With precise X-rays, CBCT scans and 3D scans, treatment can be planned without guesswork, instead with complete certainty and safety. It is the diagnostics that make the entire treatment predictable, well-tailored and simply effective. If you want informed and professional care, you are in the perfect place.

What possibilities does modern diagnostics offer?

At our clinic, we use equipment that allows us to see every detail and plan treatment with complete precision. The pantomogram allows a quick view of all the teeth and the jawbone in a single image, which is great for reviews and assessing the overall condition of the teeth.

Cephalometry, on the other hand, is an examination used mainly in orthodontics, helping to assess facial proportions and occlusal relations. In more complex cases, we resort to 3D tomography, which provides a three-dimensional image of the tissues and is indispensable prior to, among other things, implants or surgical treatment.

Complementing the diagnostics is an intraoral scan - a comfortable alternative to traditional impressions, particularly appreciated by patients. We also support advanced analysis with the Modjaw system, which allows us to assess jaw movements in real time and accurately plan prosthetic or orthodontic work.

Frequently asked questions

Are all diagnostic tests necessary before treatment?

Not always, but many of them make it significantly easier to make the right diagnosis. Sometimes a panoramic X-ray is enough, other times a 3D CT scan is needed to see what is going on deep in the bone or in the roots. The doctor always explains why a particular examination is needed and selects it so as not to burden the patient with unnecessary procedures.

Yes, the radiation dose used in dentistry is very low. Modern equipment, such as pantomograms and CBCT scanners, keep radiation to a minimum, so that examinations are also safe for children. Of course, individual assessment and appropriate precautions are necessary for pregnant women.

The intraoral scan replaces classic impressions, which many people found inconvenient. It provides the dentist with a digital model of the teeth - accurate, stable and ready for use in treatment planning, creating orthodontic trays or designing prosthetic work. The patient does not have to bite or fill anything with the mass, and the whole process takes a few minutes.

No. It is mainly performed when implant treatment, surgery or complex root canal treatment is planned. Tomography gives a three-dimensional image of the bone, roots and tissues, allowing the doctor to avoid surprises during the procedure. If there are no indications, there is no need for such extensive diagnostics.

Yes, especially when we are concerned with the perfect fit of the bite and mandibular movement. The modjaw records how the patient bites, how the mandible works and the individual movement parameters. This makes prosthetic work, veneers or braces more precise and natural to use.

In many cases, yes, especially when the diagnosis is simple and immediately available on screen. With more complex situations, the doctor analyses the data, consults with other specialists and prepares a plan at the next visit. The most important thing is that decisions are based on solid, accurate information.

Radiological diagnostics at Supradent Warsaw

Radiological diagnostics at Supradent Warsaw is the foundation of effective treatment - without an accurate picture of the teeth and tissues, it is impossible to plan treatment in a safe and predictable manner. We perform both point-of-care radiographs, which allow us to assess a single tooth and its roots, and pantomograms covering the entire maxilla and mandible.

In more demanding cases, we use three-dimensional CBCT tomography, which allows the dentist to see the full structure of the bone, the course of the canals and the position of anatomically important points. Such precision is crucial for root canal treatment, implants, surgery and orthodontics.

Complementing the diagnostics are intraoral scans, which show the current state of the occlusion and tooth surfaces without the need for classic impressions. By combining these technologies, each treatment plan is well thought out, safe and tailored to the patient's real needs.
